reflection on editing

when I finished filming I used premier pro to export the footage for my advert . when it came to exporting the my work I thought about how I am going edit this to make it more like an advert . so after I watched the footage and editing it was a bit difficult because sometimes I will accidently cut the whole thing of and I will have to export it out again . I have to say that my editing skill have developed of the past months including last year , I feel more confident in my editing skills because of the way the finishing product turn out looked like a proper advert and the message I was trying to put behind it became really clear .
 the biggest hurdle for me was to edit the background noise because the camera caught the sound when I was filming . as I was editing the footage I r the camera picked up background noise which meant that I had to use adobe audition to get rid of it however it was hard for me to use because I have never used, even though I haven't used adobe audition I was able to lower the background noise , this benefited me because I taught myself how to use it without any help. this has also benefited me for next time in case something like this happens again . I found that it was easier for me to focus on the footage than it was to focus on the sound because I spent a lot of time on trying to edit the sound , I also found it easier for me to edit this in class after school because in school they had all the resources I need to edit this . during the time I was editing I wad able to add transitions to make it more effective so that my audience can connect with the finished product
with hurdles came hidden strength because , I discovered I was able to do the work on my own , I never thought I was able to edit on my own because I have never edited before , I found out that I am confident in my editing skills . this can benefit me in the future because if someone is going give a piece of short film I will be more confident to edit it all by myself
